Please read these terms carefully before using LUMINA DPM.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lumina Corp Nigeria ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the LUMINA Digital Parish Manager ("LUMINA DPM", "Service", or "Platform").
LUMINA DPM is the world's first Digital Parish Manager, designed to serve parish communities with comprehensive digital tools for spiritual and administrative management. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge that you are using the platform for legitimate parish and religious purposes.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
LUMINA DPM is a comprehensive digital parish management platform that provides:
- Mass intention booking and thanksgiving management
- Secure donation and payment processing
- Event management and RSVP systems
- Parish member and family management
- Sacramental record keeping and certificates
- Ministry and volunteer coordination
- Live streaming and virtual services
- Financial management and reporting
- Communication and announcement systems
- Multi-parish and diocesan administration
- Analytics and parish insights
The Service is provided on a subscription basis with different tiers offering varying features and usage limits.
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Account Types
- Parishioner: Free access to basic features and parish services
- Parish Administrator: Management access to parish operations
- Super Administrator: Platform-wide administrative access
Subscription Plans
- Free Plan: Basic features with limited usage quotas
- Silver Plan: ₦69,999/month with increased quotas and features
- Gold Plan: ₦199,999/month with advanced features and higher limits
- Platinum Plan: Custom pricing for enterprise needs
Billing and Payment
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
- All payments are processed securely through Paystack
- Prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and include applicable taxes
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
Refunds and Cancellations
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refund policies are determined on a case-by-case basis
- Mass intention and donation refunds are processed according to parish policies
- No refunds for services already rendered or consumed
Parish Administrator Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date parish information
- Ensure proper authorization for sacramental record access
- Comply with canonical and diocesan requirements
- Protect the privacy and confidentiality of parishioner data
- Use the platform in accordance with church teachings and values
- Provide appropriate training to parish staff and volunteers
Parishioner Responsibilities
- Provide accurate personal and family information
- Respect the privacy of other parish members
- Use the platform for legitimate parish activities only
- Follow parish guidelines and policies
- Report any security concerns or inappropriate behavior
Spiritual Considerations
While LUMINA DPM provides digital tools for parish management, we recognize that the spiritual life of the parish community extends beyond technology. Users are encouraged to maintain personal relationships and spiritual practices alongside digital engagement.
Permitted Uses
- Legitimate parish management and administrative activities
- Booking mass intentions and thanksgiving services
- Making donations and payments to parishes
- Participating in parish events and activities
- Communicating with parish members and administrators
- Accessing sacramental records and certificates
- Coordinating ministry and volunteer activities
Prohibited Uses
- Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or canonical requirements
- Transmitting harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the system or other parishes' data
- Interfering with the proper functioning of the Service
- Using the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
- Impersonating others or providing false information
- Spamming or sending unsolicited communications
- Sharing sacramental or confidential parish information inappropriately
- Using the platform to promote activities contrary to Catholic teachings
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Lumina Corp Nigeria and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, but grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.
LUMINA DPM handles sensitive sacramental and religious data with the utmost care and respect. Special provisions apply to the handling of such information:
Sacramental Records
- Sacramental records are maintained in accordance with canonical law requirements
- Access to sacramental records is restricted to authorized parish personnel
- Records are retained permanently as required by church law
- Special security measures protect the confidentiality of sacramental information
Religious Information
- Spiritual preferences and religious affiliations are treated with special care
- Ministry and volunteer information is protected with additional safeguards
- Pastoral care communications are subject to enhanced confidentiality
- Religious data is never used for commercial or marketing purposes
Our Commitment
We recognize the sacred nature of parish data and commit to handling all religious and sacramental information with the highest standards of care, confidentiality, and respect for the spiritual significance of such data.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy, including the special provisions for sacramental and religious data handling.
We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumina Corp Nigeria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lumina Corp Nigeria and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
